The North American International Auto Show in Detroit is one of the biggest motor shows of the year, and it begins next week. Of particular interest to us Lincoln fans will be the debut of the production Lincoln Continental.
Other cars will make their world debut as well. These include the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the redesigned Chrysler Town & Country, the Honda Ridgeline, the Lexus LC coupe, and the Chevrolet Cruze. After rolling out two crossovers in 2014 and 2015, Lincoln will focus on sedans in 2016. It likely will use the Detroit show to unveil the production version of the Continental, which has changed little from the concept car Lincoln debuted last spring. The Continental hits dealerships this year, shortly after shipments of the freshened MKZ sedan start. Both cars feature a new, rectangular grille design in place of the split-wing look, as well as the most powerful engine ever dropped into a Lincoln.
