rbreeze/dmace0908 -- I agree 100% with your respective posts. The MKC is, as dmace0908 has stated "a very classy car". I have driven several Escapes as rental units, and like that vehicle very much. But, based on my recent drive, the MKC is in an entirely different league. There is no way I could detect any similarity between these two CUVs; the MKC feels and drives much different -- better ride, better handling, quieter. The interior is top-notch and does not resemble the Escape at all. Overall, the MKC feels heavier, but in a good way. I do believe this will be a very good seller for Lincoln.

Several months ago on a business trip, I got a brand new (12 miles on the odometer) Lincoln MKZ from National Rental Car. When I got in it, I wondered how I would adapt to the push-button transmission. Answer: no problem. Took a couple of hours, but by the end of the 3 day rental I wasn't even thinking about it anymore. On the recent drive I had in an MKC (several hours worth), the same thing happened. I suppose everyone is different, but for me it really didn't take anytime at all for me to get used to it. Perhaps more important, though: I liked it!
