Question for sync 3 owners

I am a music fanatic and listen to a lot of live shows on my usb drive. I often want to fast forward or rewind a track to listen to a transition or certain part again without having to listen to the entire song. As we know this is not possible with the current sync. I know I can copy some of this music to my phone and use the fast forward/rewind in the iPhone music app but first sound quality is better through usb directly and second it's too small and usafe to be doing this on an iPhone while driving.

Sync 3 owners out there, can you do this with the new system?

Yep. You can fast forward and rewind songs played (mp3 format) from an inserted USB drive.
