I just purchased a 2017 MKC Reserve. It does not have the "Tech Package". I would like to know if the guidelines for the rear view camera fade (bend) in and out as the steering wheel is turned. Mine do not so I took it to the dealer and was told it required the tech package. When I took the MKC off the lot I could have sworn the guidelines curved with the turning of the steering wheel. Does anyone have a basic MKC Reserve without the tech package that can answer my question? I did call the concierge and they did not know.

I believe you need the tech package because the that package also takes in steering inputs for other features.. Interesting though the 22K Honda Civic we got for our daughter after she graduated college has the curved lines for the backup package.
