Well, the extreme flooding in the Great Lake States killed our MKC yesterday. It was at the dealer for the A/C TSB and was taken by a flood (with 100 other cars). I'm back in the MKT loaner until this is sorted out.

This is 24 hours after the floor. The Dealer owner said the water was over the Focus's roof when they arrived yesterday. Dealer remained closed yesterday and finally got access today.

Given your other posts relating to dealer issues along with attempting to get issues resolved with what appeared to be a problematic vehicle, this could be a blessing in disguise. Take the insurance money and run!

Hope the dealer steps up and does not leave you to deal with this as an insurance matter that is completely your problem.

Also hope you have a first class insurance company that making claims is a reasonable experience and not a nightmare. Not quite the same as having a car stolen, but if its a total right off.....its the same thing.
