I dropped my truck of to lincoln service center 8am 9/8 for and off centered steering wheel, 10k maintenance and to hopefully fix the TSB on the seats. To day just called and they haven't even touched the car as yet. Was told that the alignment machine broke and someone is coming to fix it. Do they really have 1 alignment machine. These are the reasons people don't buy these cars. On the bright side they gave me a 2015 MKC loaner with 700 miles on it. When I got into the loaner and started it, I expected it to have the rough start mine has. But it didn't. The transmission was like butter on the way home. Make me wonder what the heck is wrong with my car, my tranny jerks and hesitates and leather seats based on what positions its in makes the worse squeaky noise. I would've never known better either if i didnt drive that loaner. I love the car but I honestly think this might be my last lincoln.

I questioned my transmission a few times but wasn't sure if I should have it addressed. Maybe just a different engine I'm not used to? But when I happened to drive my cad SRX again before I sold it I definitely thought the MKC was rough. Then I too had a loaner that seemed much smoother in shifting and acceleration. They applied a software update to mine and didn't seem to help. Service (and someone on this forum) mentioned the trans adapts to your driving style after a while.

Could I be "training" it this way?
