I got about 9k miles now. Shifting in that range gets smoother over time.
I have a 2.3 with 1,700 miles. All shifting very smooth...only difference is in Sport mode it feels different since the engine is ready to charge!

I had this same exact issue and my local dealer essentially told me I didn’t know what I was talking about because I purchased the vehicle CPO a week prior and I am a first time car buyer (21Yrs). Low and behold, the tranny guy got to my car and determined it needed an overhaul. I think it had something built up in excess in my transmission. I have to check my paperwork again to get specific terminology . Warranty covered it for me but don’t dismiss it. It could be a serious issue down the line!

Yes, most definitely, the PCM programming they had in the 2.3 l was very hard on the transmissions. if you've got a 2.3 you need to get the PCM programmed as soon as possible to avoid transmission failure

There is a warranty extension on the transmission and there may also be a reprogram as part of that notice? You should be a notice in the app.
