Both my MKC and Mustang GT CS are shod with Michelin X-Ice....not a single complaint to mention, insanely grippy tire in nasty conditions....When I first got the MKC I was surprised at how bad the traction was with the OEM All Season tires...and that's biting on 4 wheel drive.....bought the X Ice and never looked back...
As Todd mentioned, you DID list the top 3 tires out there,I have friends that have the Nokian Hakkapelitta R2's and say very positive reviews on them......The Blizzak is a great tire as well, all feedback I got on them is that the threads die out quite early, loosing grip over snow/ice.

I'm Running very confidently this winter with Toyo Observe Gsi-5 235/50R-18 - 235/50R18 - H Studless Winter Tires
These are excellent, Winter Season Only Tires on a spare set of rims. Soft rubber compound grips in the Cold temps.
Reasonable price too. Plan to put on the All Season when warms up.
I Change over to stock All Season for the rest of the year.
I tried for half winter before, but not as confident in the winter compared to the above winter tires. Big difference over all Season wheels.
