I ordered my MKC Select on 8/6. The Lincoln concierge originally told me it would be built this past week, then changed to week of 9/22 with a dealer delivery date of 11/1. THREE MONTHS if built and delivered as advised. I'm frustrated and upset. It must be that allMKC production is going into dealer stock.:crying

We ordered July 15. Our dealer said it would be at least 8 weeks to delivery, possibly more. Our scheduled build date is next week, so that's pretty much in line with expectations (depending on how long it will take to get to Florida).

Concierge must have been looking at the wrong order to quote you a build date that soon after ordering.

Thanks for the responses re order to delivery time. Based on your collective experience, I'm planning on an early November delivery. Hopefully I'll have my MKC before Thanksgiving.

From what I can tell talking to my Concierge and reading all the posts, every one has received their vehicle within 12 weeks. Seems like 12 years.
I ordered 3/31 and dealer received 8/11...about 18.7 weeks for me. But as said before on this Forum, production did not start until late April, building inventory, not pre-solds, units first, the THX delay of a couple weeks, then on hold due to windshield bubble inspection issue, then rail car shortage delay of about a week...so that was a long 18.7 weeks!

But worth every minute/day/week/month!!!

It's a great "car."

My MKC was:
Ordered 6/18/14
Build Date 8/13/14 (exactly 8 weeks from order date)
Delivered to me 8/23/14 (9 weeks, 3 days from order date)

The delivery from Louisville to Atlanta (train) and then trucked to North GA, prepped and delivered seems pretty fast. At least compared to the other stories I have read about.

Mine was Black/Black 2.0L, 19" wheels, with every other option available except the trailer hitch and all weather floor mats.

Driven about 1,000 miles so far. Could not be happier.

I got the stuff you didn't get:2.3L AWD for New England and
All weather floor mats for the same reason
Mine's only a Select, black and white.

It sure takes a long time to get delivery. I look forward to the day I can post that I got it.

I am ready to claim the record for longest delivery time for an MKC ordered after production started.

I ordered mine on May 30. It was built 14 weeks later, on Sept 6. Estimated delivery is Sept 21, according to the dealer. That makes a 16.3-week lead time.
