Does anyone know how to adjust the motion of the sunshade? Mine doesn't fully close.

You will think this is nuts but here is the procedure

Close glass and shield as possible

With drivers door closed turn on ignition and wait for ceiling lights to turn off

Press vent and fully open glass to vented position

Press left map light (light will turn on)

Press right map light ( on, off, on, off)

Press left map light ( off)

Immediately press left 2 more times

Open drivers door

Press ignition once to turn off, and wait for IC to power down

Immediately turn ignition back on

Press vent and hold until glass moves to the vent position, stalls for 1 second, moves to full open stalls for one second, then moves to closed position

Release vent

Press and hold close shield until shield closes and stalls for 1 second moves to full open and stalls for one second and moves back to close

Release shield close button

Should be programmed now.

Seems to work for adjusting the window operation, but the shade screen is in the same state as when I started.

Thanks for trying!
Sorry that did not work for you, that is straight from the OEM mkc service manual
Mine on 2017 refuses to open. Found that if you long press the close switch it also opens the shade - seems to work both ways -
worth a try.
It may be a problem with the motor or other internal components of the sun visor. If this is the case, it is best to take it to a professional mechanic or a dealership for evaluation and repair.
First, make sure that there are no obstacles that may prevent complete closure. Sometimes dirt or debris can build up and cause problems. You may need to adjust the tension of the sun visor. This can usually be done by tightening or loosening the screws or bolts that secure the sun visor. You should consult your car's owner's manual or do a little research online to find out the specifics of your make and model. If that doesn't help, you can find an alternative option in the form of car sun shades. Either way, good luck to you.
I have a 2015 mxc and the sunshade went completely back and now it won't go back to close, the sunroof no longer opens so I don't know what is going on and it makes the car very hot when the sun beams in
