I believe that the capability for apps in SYNC2 was an unfulfilled fantasy. That is, I don't believe any SYNC2 compatible apps were ever developed.

I do not, was just wondering about the functionality of the section in which I posted photos

If you have a recognized app installation file in the root directory (not within any folder) of a USB drive (not a phone) plugged into your SYNC2 system, then it should load. Lacking that, you'll get the message in the final photo you posted. Similar to installing a SYNC2 update downloaded from the Owners website.
