The 2017 sync will have it and sync 3 on the 2016 cars will get an update sometime???

sync 3 compatibility
I've read several things related to sync 3 working with android auto and Scout. Some say it works others say some day. Does anyone know if or when sync 3 will work with these products? I know I certainly can't get them to work.
