My 2016 MKC has a thin black line running thru the SYNC 3 screen. Has anyone had this? I know there was a way to reset the system. Any chance that would help clear it up? Naturally my eye goes right to the line!

Its never happened to me but Id give the reset a try, its not a big deal and easy to do (ive had to do it lots of times LOL) but you do lose some of your saved info like wallpaper you downloaded, your nav presets, Sirius radio alerts (which is the only one that annoys me). Cant remember what else but its minor I think.

Hopefully its just that and not a pixel problem with your screen. 'Try it out let us know what happens.

Reset didn't help. I need a service appointment which I'll try and make this week. Hopefully they can do something about it, although I am kind off getting used to it.
I'll report back.

Bummer. At least it works. I'm the type of person that would focus on that line too. . Let us know what they say.

Line thru screens are usually a bad display or video card.

^ agreed....don't be surprised if they have to replace your display/video card.
