Got a tint strip across the top of my windshield. Usually I get the front door windows tinted to match the backs, but New York State will now fail a car on State Inspection for any tint on front door windows.

I just had the front windows tinted to match the back with an Eyelid. Looks much better and stays cooler.

Have not taken any pics of the MKC yet. The front windows now match the rear.

I'm jealous. I only did 50% on my front doors and that is technically illegal now in New York state. They don't allow any tint other than factory and supposedly your vehicle will fail NYS Inspection if it has any. I still see lots of cars done though. I guess people just take the tint off prior to inspection, then re-tint after. My 50% seems to be light enough to sneak through, but I wish it were darker to better match the rest of the vehicle.

I left NJ 40 years ago because of the nanny laws and smog and vehicle inspections. We don't have vehicle inspections and don't need them. We don't get hassled by LEOS for tint. Property taxes are paid with couch change LOL...
