Did anyone get there front side window's tinted.
If so where did you get it done & which tint is the best.
What % was the tint & does it match the back side window's ?
What was the cost ?:smile

OEM tint on the MKC for me is dark enough, I had the Mustang glass tinted and did not exceed the legal limit here, I believe it's @35%....I asked for the best tint they had,some cheaper tint films tend to take a purplish tint over time...doing the two side windows, the two small rear passenger windows and the rear windshield came to $200 CDN, that included product and installation as well as tax. it's been on since 2011 and no tint shift happened so far!

I tinted my front side windows. 35% and it's not quite as dark as the rears. I also had a nearly clear film put on the rear windows for the UV and heat benefits (hot temps and bright sun 300+ days a year here in So. Cal...) In addition, for the first time, I also tinted the panoramic roof darker than factory so I could have the sunshade open longer in the daytime. I'm pleased with it. The whole job was around $275 total. It's a local window place here I've used for my last four cars called Sunshield Window Tinting. They do great work, have great customer service and I've never had a problem with anything they've done. I think they use either 3M, Madico or Llumar films.

How do your Little fixed Opera window's look ?
i was advised that the Dot Matrix around the edge will look Silver on the outside.
Do your's look this way & does it bother you.
I want to tint mine,but being a perfectionist makes me worry how they will look.
Any advise appreciated.

Mine look fine. The dots do not appear to be silver, inside or outside.

Here's a couple. I don't think you can really see the dots very easily from the outside, but they do not appear silver.

Had mine done in April 2014 at Shades, Fairfield, OH (Near Cincinnati) 50%, $100. Coming up on a year and no problems. Have used them many times and still have 2007 Infiniti they did and tint still perfect.

Didn't see anyway to edit post. Had windows tinted in April 2015, **** small keyboards. Tough to have done in 2014 months before MKC released. :wink
