Punchlist items that generally lead to inconvenience or expense are usually not targeted items for recall. In general it usually comes back to be things that lead to potential for bodily injury or death.
This is my cynical view, but if you look at most recalls the description fits. Everything else falls into the TSB category as a lesser concern.
These vehicles are hard on the transmission fluid so the best thing you can do for them is change that every 30k miles or so. Most will recommend OEM transmission fluid, but I run all redline products and so far have had good luck with them. The most important thing obviously is the change interval - all things considered.
