Just road in the back seat of my eight month old MKC. Noticed that the edge of the headliner above the door looks frayed above the whole length of the window. Closer inspection revealed that either the headliner was cut too short to tuck under the black rubber trim piece, or that trim is not tight enough to hold the headliner tucked in. It is a raw edge with the spongy underside exposed. Wondering if this defect can be fixed, and if it will be under warranty. Check the edges of your headliners!

Hey skirk! I just noticed the exact same issue on my 11 month old MKC. I'm getting ready to take it in for my first servicing - I'll add this to my very small list!

I checked our headliner and all appears to be fine; in fact it seems to be a very tight fit.

skirk51, what are the specs (color/Equip package/etc./ build date) for your car? The build date can be found at the bottom of your window sticker. I can see that Bruce's was built in June 2014. It might be a certain production time that was effected.
