I am still betting its the car not the app with the low battery issue. And I would be willing to bet it fixes itself... when I don't know. :winkHa ha I still have low battery message..
Ohhh yeah... it lasted quite a while. And with all the problems I had, I was checking it quite often and given the majority of my woes were during winter... I was using the App daily. I bet it kept reporting the low battery for a solid month. Basically it was sooo long it's like your refrigerator running, you don't notice when it runs... until it doesn't.Blanster try Rayo's steps to reauthorize your car which includes a SYNC master reset. It should not take 2 weeks to authorize your car, it sounds like you may have a different problem. Someone else on here (kmcart I believe) had some connectivity issues that involved his phone carrier/provider and I believe he literally had to switch providers to solve. Not sure if yours is the same problem but two weeks to authorize your vehicle is way beyond normal. I forget, were you working with Lincoln on this? What do they say?
Rayo how long did you have your low battery message until it magically went away. All of my app issues on all phones and all versions are fixed but my battery message remains persistent across all of them and only appeared after an apparent problem with my battery. The low battery message after the battery replacement has remained since the middle of September so I'm going on about 3 weeks. Someone else has the message since spring! Do you recall how long you had it for?
I've been working with Lincoln support - They have only suggested reinstalling the app after they did something on their end. My cell provider is Verizon and I have very good coverage, even in the garage as well as WiFi out there. I got the initial "authorize" requent on the Sync 3 screen then nothing after. I'll see what happens by the weekend. Anyone with Sync 3 having success with the app?Blanster try Rayo's steps to reauthorize your car which includes a SYNC master reset. The easier question would be what didn't they replace??? The list of modules replaced through my nightmare was extensive as they were hunting for what was constantly killing the battery. They replaced the Battery, some module bus/interface under the steering wheel, the body control module, the APIM, the safety restraint system module, power steering control module and many others. Heck after over 42 days in service... I am pretty sure the only thing they did not try is replacing the main PCM.Ok so hopefully my message will go away soon then based on Rayo's experience. Rayo you did have your battery control module replaced too right? I just had my battery replaced.
I'm using the app on a 2016 MKC with Sync 3 ... though not with a scheduled start. But manual remote start works fine...Anyone with Sync 3 having success with the app?
Km have you ever actually had your car into the dealer to investigate a potential battery problem? Or are they insisting it's an app issue? Seems we are only ones left with that message. Rayo had it but revisit his story and he probably did have something wrong with the car. I DID need my battery replaced..My phone updated the next version of the Android app today. Everything works (including Autostart), but I still have the "low battery" message.
