My safety belt warning chime sometimes emits a different sound other than the fancy 3 tone warning it's suppose to. Sometimes it will emit a more basic 4 tone sound instead of the fancy 3 tones. Also when it does this, the tone sound when closing the rear hatch is very faint and doesn't sound as it should either. Has anyone else experienced this? I am wondering if my warning chime is already defective with only 300 miles on the car.

I also have that problem. The problem extends to emergency braking sound, as well as the forward and backup sensors. All the sounds are more "mechanical" than normal. It only happens once or twice a month, and of course, NEVER when it's being serviced. The dealer has no idea how to fix it!

Im thinking it may be tied to the audio control module issue which also causes the subwoofer thump sound. I've noticed the last 2 times it's happened, it's been right after the sub thumped when I got next to the car with my fob. The chimes usually sound from the speakers but after the thump, the chime sounds come from the instrument panel instead, until I do a full power down and move the fob away from the car then it goes back to normal. I haven't had a chance to make an appointment to have it reprogrammed yet but hopefully that will fix the issue
