Think you need to carry the remote for the Welcome Mat to light...it does when you get about 8 feet away with the remote with you. Day or night.

When i get in when it is dark i don't see the Lincoln Logo on the ground.
The door handles do light.
Could it be because i don't carry the remote,i leave it in the car & open the doors with the keypad.
I hate carrying keys so i have done this with my previous Lincoln.I can still use Remote Start with my second remote that is in my apartment.
