I took a trip this past weekend to LA with the MKC.

- An older gentleman in a white Jaguar XF came up to me at a gas station to ask how we liked the MKC. He said it was a great looking car, and he was considering one for his wife.

- An older couple positively bolted towards me as I opened the driver's door in a shopping center parking lot. They said it was the first MKC they had seen on the road, and they were enamored with the styling and interior.

Everyone really likes the soft, high quality leather.

What attention have you received? From what age groups? So far, only older folks have seemed interested in the MKC.

Have had the car since Aug and it might as well be invisible. Not one single person has even come close for a look see. Not a big deal as I bought it for me and don't care what anyone else thinks.

Invisible MKC

Funny you said this - I've had mine since July, live in Indianapolis (moderately large city) and have had to tell many people what it is - and I have yet to see another MKC anywhere! I don't really know what any of this means but it feels like a lack of promotion or advertising!
Like you, I bought it for me but so far my MKC lacks "boasting" power, and we all like to boast occasionally - don't we?!

I have had people stop me on the road and in shopping centers to ask about the car. Same here though, I haven't seen many on the road.

I've had a fair amount of attention. I'd say once every few weeks someone asks about it.

The first day I picked it up I went on a long road trip (timing just worked out). An MKZ with 4 people in it followed us for about 10 miles to ask us about the car. They were really interested in it, and quite excited to see one. I've also had people at stop lights, neighbors, and coworkers inquire about it. A lot of them don't seem to know what kind of car it is, but like how it looks and want to know more. For example, a coworker tried to catch up to me as I was leaving a parking garage. The next day they asked because apparently I was gone too fast for them to see the label, but the rear profile intrigued them. Kind of interesting...

People that are passionate about their vehicles will fully check it out, to see what it has to offer. Of the ones that have, all responses of family, friends or co-workers have been positive, liking the styling, comfort and feel. A few have voiced interest in considering or a purchase of the MKC in near future for themselves or a family member.
