White Sands Interior / Protecting the Cloth

We are going to buy an MKC with white sands interior and I noticed that the front corners and sides of the seats next to the middle console are cloth. Because of the positioning, you can't just spray Scotchguard on them without overs spray getting on other stuff.

For those of you that detailed your own vehicle when buying it new, what anti-stain product did you use on this surface and how did you apply it?

TIA

Yes you can spray scotch guard, would recommend using blue painters tape and paper or plastic to prevent over spray on items, wouldn't hurt anything if it got on them I just like keeping my new interior new, not chemicals or shiny products or anything on the inside of the car for a couple months just damp rag for wipe down.

Also HIGHLY recommend this, not only will it help protect the cloth from getting stuff on it, but it also keeps objects from falling between the seats. First time I saw them was in a friends truck about 6 months ago I thought they were factory until I commented on how awesome it was GM covered the gap and he told me he added them.

Anyways check these out.... You can chance it on getting some that match or you can just go with black.

Thanks for your reply. I checked out the link for the gap fillers (what a great idea!!) and it doesn't appear that they sell anything compatible with the Lincoln MKC at this time, but I'll keep checking back in hopes that they will eventually have them.
mayday: I went back to the link you posted and clicked through all the pages and noticed that ALL the cars listed are foreign makes. Since your friend's truck was GM (which is not on the list), maybe I can find them somewhere after all.

If you happen to find a site that has them for American-made vehicles, please post.
